| Virtual Assistants (VA's) work with many different kinds of people; authors, consultants, entrepreneurs, executives, professionals - anyone who wants to be professionally successful and live a more balanced life. This balanced life gives them more free time to do the things that they want to do, not necessarily what they "have" to do.
One of the advantages of working with a VA is that you haven't hired anyone. People choose to work with VA's because they:
- don't have the space nor the equipment for someone in the office. Perhaps they just don't want to have the extra equipment or someone there.
- don't want to be paying for someone else to administer payroll and benefits, and then to pay for someone else to receive them.
These are just two of the top reasons why a person, small business or larger company would hire a VA.If what you want and need is the most basic office support, to have something completed 5 minutes ago, then you might want to work with a secretarial service. However, on the other hand, if you want the benefit of working with someone who offers that same professionalism, but on a contract basis, you will want to work with a VA.What I am offering to you are the abilities of an Administrative Assistant, without the worries of hiring one as a permanent full-time employee.
How a VA works
A Virtual Assistant works almost exactly as an in-office Administrative Assistant, with the exception of the inability to do tasks that are due 5 minutes ago. You have the ability to decide what work you delegate to the VA, and what work you can keep for yourself to do. This helps with making sure that you and your company does not lose on any money. It allows for you to be able to focus on the projects that need your immediate attention, all the while having the lesser important tasks being taken care of at the same time.
This ongoing support is handled through leading edge technology. This technology is what we use in order to transfer work assignments from your office to mine. Methods such as email, online communications, disc transfer, and facsimile can be used.
If you prefer more traditional manners, work assignments can also be exchanged with regular mail and/or overnight delivery.
